Mr. Sheldon Senft is the #2 Travel Booking Agent in PTN June 2008 from Calgary, AB, Canada!!

“THANKS everyone”! PTN helped me to achieve quite a goal. As you can see when you scroll down up, for the month of June 2008, I came out in the top 10 for $ of bookings, actually in at  #2 across North America!

For some, I booked their travel previous to June 2008, but that still helped in my first year as I learned the ropes. Others actually are part of my June bookings total. For others I’m currently working on trips for the future. And finally, some of them have simply been an encouragement to me, by asking questions and voicing their support as I learn how PTN works.

To those working with me, I appreciate having you on my team, and it would give me great happiness to pass on some of the things I’ve learnt, in order to help you achieve your own successes in PTN.

This first year working in the travel industry with PTN has been a lot of fun! I appreciate your patronage of my business and I look forward to making your travel dreams come true, whether big or small, for many years to come. :  )

"Helping make your travel dreams come true"

IATAN Certified with NO previous travel booking experience!

My name is Fitzroy Gordon from Toronto,Canada, and I joined ProTravel Network on October 10, 2007. I was introduced to this business on October 7, 2007, and my only reason for "not" signing up that day was because the person who introduced me to PTN was interested in booking flights only, and so did not understand the Referal Program compensation plan. On Oct 10, 2007 I met with his coach who explained PTN to me, and I registered the same day. When I got registered, I spent my first two weeks taking my travel trainings and learning all I can about the travel side of the business. The referal side of the business wasn't going to be a problem for me, as I have been involved with team building before. Todate July 8th, 2008, while I still maintain my current emplyment status with my businesses, I have acquired my IATAN status thru PTN. I have book $57,436.21 in travel, I have made $5,031.96 commission, which helped me achieve my IATAN status. During this time, I have learn a lot about suppliers and which ones to use for particular areas and bookings.

Here are some suppliers that I mainly use - West Jet (great prices for areas in Canada), Titan Tours and GG tours (great for the Caribbean region) North America and vacations, SIREV, Africa and Asia, Netfaresonline is great for flight to Jamaica with Air Jamaica. Farebuzz is great for flights all over the world especially for multi city stops.

TELLINGS OTHERS TO DO PTN:

When I was ready to build the MLM side of my business, I called the person who introduced me to PTN for help, but they were not unable to help me since they were brand new in PTN just like me. However, because of my determination to grow my business I was moving faster that she could help me. So I called PTN Head Office, told them about my situation, and they sent my name to National Training Director Mr. Anil Ramcharitar. Since working with Mr.Ramcharitar, and going to the first Protravel International Training Event in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic May 2008, my business has been growing at a very fast rate. I now have 29 people in my group, also as Travel Agents like me.

HELPING MY CUSTOMERS PERSONALLY:

Most of the bookings that I have done are mainly from referals. Besides saving my clients money which I do a lot of the time, I also offer great service to them.

Here are some things that I have done so far. (1) I always take the phone number for my customer's destination, I call them within 24 hrs from the time they arrive just to find out if they are safe and how was their flight. (2) I had a customer that booked a flight to go to St. Kitts because her dad was ill. Due to the condition of her dad's illness, I encouraged her to buy travel insurance, which she did. Four days later, which was a month before her flight, she call me because her dad passed away. I booked her another flight, and when she returned I helped her to get back her money from the Insurance company - Travel Guard. (3) On July 8, 2008 I booked a flight for one of my client's sister traveling on a one way ticket from Jamaica to Canada. After booking the flight, I learnt from the supplier that the person can only travel one way if they have a Canadian passport. My client already booked a oneway ticket going back to Jamaica for her sister. She didn't have any way of getting the ticket to her because her sister did not have access to email or a fax machine. I told her to send me the ticket, I called a friend of mine who worked close to the airport, emailed the ticket to her, had her contact the person traveling, print the ticket, meet with her and she was able to travel without any problem.

Traveling as an Agent in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada

"Just wanted you to know how much I am enjoying my new venture with Pro Travel Network.

I needed a room in Red Deer.  So in looking around I got a room priced at $159.00 for $84.00.   What an incredible savings!

Being my own travel agent will save me money and pay for itself in no time, whether I book for others or not.
Thank You Sheila for bringing this to my attention.

I'll keep you informed on any further great deals I'll be making in the future."

Travel Agent Rates at the Fairmont Edmonton

Just wanted to let you know I had the opportunity to stay at the Fairmont Hotel in Edmonton this weekend. Following Mr. Anil Ramcharitar's testimonial about his trip last November 2007, I did the Fairmont course and booked as a travel agent....got a room with 2 beds for $109, including an extended check-out of 2 pm!! My son Darin was singing at the Winspear Centre in Edmonton and it
was going to be a late night and an early morning, so we usually spend a
night at a hotel. Our usual stay at the Holiday Inn Express was going to
cost $145....and the Fairmont Hotel MacDonald was an amazing property to be on....you should have seen the fitness centre, sauna, steam room and pool....fabulous!

Thought I'd send along a couple photos....I'm definitely enjoying
the "saving" money side of PTN!

Thanks again for your mentoring Anil....

Kind regards,
Wynne

Travel Agent Discounts at Disney

“When people ask, can I REALLY experience savings with PTN, here’s what I tell them…OF COURSE YOU CAN!!!  I did it just after signing up (I signed up January 10th, 2008) and without even really knowing what I was doing yet!!  We had already booked and paid for our Disney family vacation before my colleague shared the PTN opportunity with me.  I was a bit disappointed with the timing, but the only thing left to do was to book the rental car, so I thought I’d put this new business to the test.  I called the rental car company (National Car Rental) just a couple days before leaving to Disney and they gave me a quote for the rental for the week.  Then I told the gentleman I was a travel agent with ProTravel and asked very kindly if they had any agent rates…he then gave me a fantastic discount…I saved $100 on a weeks worth of car rental!!  That’s a great savings even on a relatively inexpensive booking!  Just think what I could have saved if I’d started earlier and gotten my Disney training before we booked??  I wouldn’t travel without agent status again!” .....Wanda Smith Calgary, AB

Travel Agent Perks at an All Inclusive Resort in Cancun, Mexico.

The whole reason I joined PTN was because of this vacation to Dreams in Cancun.  Through PTN it was $1000 cheaper than what I was going to pay online.  In one trip I made my investment starting in PTN of $459.98 back and then made $327 commission to boot.  Once we arrived at Dreams in Cancun I explained that I was a PTN agent, showed them our IATA # and asked if there was an upgrade available.  Moments later we were on our way to an Ocean Front Suite, which would have cost another $1200 for the week.

I will never travel any other way.

Traveling as PTN Agents

Carissa and Anil travelled across Western Canada along the No. 1 Highway, from Calgary, AB to Victoria, BC in early November 2007. They enjoyed their 13 day road trip immensely and along the way they stopped at several different hotels where they received unbelievable travel agent discounts!

"We want all of you who are reading this to understand and understand very clearly that IT IS IMPOSSIBLE NOT TO SAVE AND MAKE MONEY WITH OUR TRAVEL COMPANY! Those who take their businesses seriously and treat it with respect as a Global Powerhouse are enjoying lots of Travel perks and benefits that you can too".

Before Carissa and Anil left Calgary they took their Fairmont Famous Hotel Course (free) found at www.fairmontfamous.com It then took them 2 minutes to become “Fairmont Presidents Club” members (also free), which can be done at www.fairmont.com once you have done the Fairmont Famous training course. They then booked a Standard Room at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler regular $179 for $89 per night. Anil then took the time to e-mail the Fairmont Presidents Club staff to let them know he would be staying there. Upon arrival they were delighted to know that the Fairmont had upgraded them to a Deluxe Suite with a view of the mountains and they waived the $13.95/day High Speed Internet Fee too. So they ended up only paying $89 per night and they stayed in a $479 per night room!

Travel Agent Rates while Traveling!

Anil and I returned from a road trip from Calgary to Toronto to help our PTN team. We did not fly to Toronto – we drove – 4400 Miles!! Not only did we have fun, and helped our team, we put PTN to the test!

We got into Toronto 10pm on Wednesday night (an hour late for our 9pm meeting…) and went looking for a place to stay after 1am. After driving to a few hotels, the Airport Hilton (a newly renovated hotel) was regular $179.00/night. Anil said he was a travel agent and had never been on the property. They offered us a room for $69.00/night and Anil spoke with the manager of the hotel directly! Unfortunately, they could not offer us free parking or internet at the time, so Anil and I ended up at the Best Western Admiral. The rack rates were $139.00/night and because Anil and I were travel agents they gave us the room to us for $70.00/night (with free internet, parking and full continental breakfast!) The staff and managers on site were extremely accommodating and always addressed us by our names.

Just the hotel savings alone in Toronto, we saved $350.00 for 5 nights of stay!

On our way back, we drove through Chicago to visit Ms. BJ Thomas (National Training Director with PTN) Anil and I both got to drive her  2007 Mercedes Benz CLS 550 that ProTravel Network gave her for hitting NTD.

Anil wanted to take me to downtown Chicago for the night (I’ve never been to Chicago) so after checking with some hotels (just by driving around downtown) we found The Palmer House Hilton. This hotel was over 135 years old in the heart of downtown Chicago. Simply by Anil asking the lady at the front desk if she could do anything for us as travel agents (and it being our first time on the property, and my first time in Chicago), she put us in a suite that was regular $499/night for $99!!!! ($114.25 with tax!!!) All the surrounding hotels on the Chicago River were booked because of 4 conventions in town. Not only were we blown away by this rate, but also the fact that there was availability due to the conventions. This hotel was SO amazing!

Thank you Pro Travel Network! It pays to travel as a travel agent. The savings blew my mind! Thanks PTN!

65% Savings at a Fairmont Hotel In Edmonton!!

WOW! Talk about benefits of being a PTN Travel Agent.  Edith, one of my Regional Managers’ and I went to Edmonton on Sept 22 to do a business presentation and we had the privilege to stay at the Fairmont MacDonald Hotel - a regular room rate was $329/night but being a PTN Travel Agent & Fairmont Famous member my rate was only $109/night.  That’s a 67% saving!!!! We arrived very late at the hotel and the front desk personnel informed us that as a complimentary upgrade we are staying in their executive suite.  It was so awesome, we felt like queens!

I booked our room at www.fairmont.com and put in my Fairmont Famous #.  Fairmont Famous course is free and can be found in your travel website back office under TA University.  I highly recommend taking this course because as you see it’s all worth it!!  This is just one of the endless opportunities being a PTN Travel Agent.

Can a person with NO travel experience make any “real” money??
You can too….New to Pro Travel Network?  No problem. The commission check below represents the amount sent to us from Norwegian Cruise Lines on a booking made by PTN Agent Flora Davis, just 35 days after her start date with PTN.  Her previous travel experience…none!!
$35,119.86 in commissions for just one booking.  Not only is this possible, PTN now has more and more agents booking Flights, Hotels, Groups, Cruises and Vacation packages both domestic and around the world, and more agents than ever are earning the prestigious IATAN credential.

OVER 50% OFF HOTEL AND SKI PACKAGE IN BANFF (AS A PTN AGENT!)

“During the May long weekend (2007) we wanted to go up into Banff to get a final run of the mountain before the season ended. My Brother was visiting from Vancouver, so I had looked into the hotel rates at the Sunshine Inn that is located in Sunshine Village, right on the mountain. When I first called (before I became a PTN travel agent from home) I was quoted $689 for 2 days skiing and one night in the hotel for two adults and one youth. When I called back, after becoming a travel agent with PTN from home, I talked to the front desk directly and spoke to a gentleman named Luke. He quoted me the same package for only $289 because we were travel agents! When we arrived we asked if we could get a room upgrade, and they set us up in a room with a view of the hill and a balcony. The upgrade would have been an extra $30, but they waived it because we were travel agents.

The staff were extremely accommodating and our stay there was excellent. When checking out we met with the Hotel Manager, Matt McCormack, to express our thoughts of the staff and the property. He thanked us for the positive feed back and invited us back again next season, and to call him directly so he can give us a great rate again.

Our first experience being travel agents was great; I wouldn’t ever want to travel without being an agent again. This all happened when we were in the business ONLY 5 DAYS!”

Thanks again,
Erin and Brett,
Calgary, AB

I've been a travel agent with PTN for over two years. I have experienced first hand the incredible benefits of traveling at deep discounts. For example, my husband and I stayed at the Marriott Reef Resort on the island of St Thomas for a week that normally goes for $350+ a night and only paid $59 a night. It was first class and extremely memoriable. I have an IATAN card (earned by booking $50,000 or more in bookings in 12 months). I travel everywhere with it and quite often will get free tickets to Daytona SpeedWay, Disney, theme parks etc. We went on a trip to Panama and received discounts on tours, golf, fishing, water sports etc just by showing my IATAN card. My first 4 months as an agent I won a FREE 5 night vacation to the Big Island of Hawaii staying at the Hilton Waikoloa Village where you can swim with the dolphins compliments of Pleasant Holidays for doing the most bookings to Hawaii!!!! If you love to travel and love to make money, this business is for you!
